Media School students win Best Sideline/Report Interview in Big Ten Plus Awards
As part of Big Ten Network BIG+ Day, winners of the second annual Big Ten Plus Awards were announced on Monday. A team of IU students, including senior Lauren Booher, Amanda Foster, BA’24, senior Alexander Hynes, and junior Nick Rodecap, won the Best Sideline/Report Interview category.
The awards celebrate the work of StudentU crews from the past year. Big Ten Network’s StudentU program consists of student-produced events that stream more than 1,700 live events each year on B1G+. Through the StudentU program, the Big Ten Network provides instruction and hands-on experience to students at every Big Ten Conference member institution, allowing those interested in a career in sports television to learn all facets of video production.
