Picture-perfect study space

Situated at the heart of the building, the Franklin Hall commons features large, comfortable pieces of furniture on the ground and second floors making it the ideal spot for gathering, studying, and hanging out. A variety of events — such as guest speakers, networking opportunities, celebrations, and panels — are held in the area.

The three-story commons features photo gray skylights that adjust the brightness of the room to account for the amount of sunlight outside. 

The central feature of the commons is an interactive 24-foot-by-12-foot screen. This technology is the largest indoor screen at any academic institution in the world.

The screen features student work and branded content, as well as news and sports television broadcasts from around the world. It has a processing system that can display several sources of content at once through its split-screen capabilities.
