The Ken and Audrey Beckley Studio gives students the chance to gain hands-on broadcast and production experience. The studio is also home to IUSTV, the campus’s student-run television station.

The studio’s industry-standard equipment includes four robotic cameras, a fifth camera on a jib, and the ability to connect three additional cameras in either the commons or classroom 312. RoscoVIEW polarizing filter technology provides a clear view of the Old Crescent for students to use as a backdrop.
Programs shot in the Beckley Studio are produced via the adjacent Ed Spray Control Room.
The set was designed using reclaimed lumber and recycled materials by an IU Theater MFA graduate. The studio features several different areas for news, sportscasts, interview programs, green screens, demonstrations, and performances.
