Fine-tune projects in state-of-the-art production facilities
Multimedia lab
Our multimedia lab features 20 5K iMac computers loaded with Adobe, Apple, and DaVinci Resolve production and design software. This lab is used for individual and small-group projects. It is open and staffed with technical support more than 60 hours per week.
Editing bays
The Media School’s editing facilities provide students with professional-level post-production environments.
Every student-accessible workstation is loaded with video and audio editing software, including Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, and the complete Adobe Creative Cloud package.
Sixteen editing suites in Franklin Hall provide users with quiet isolation for precision work. In rooms capable of high-definition video production, each suite is equipped with:
- UltraWide Dell monitors to give editors ample desktop and timeline space
- Waveform monitors and vector scopes for precise adjustment of video parameters
Two of the suites are equipped with Ultra HD hardware for 4K digital cinema productions.
Four other suites are designed as podcast studios and feature RØDECaster audio production consoles. In addition, two rooms are acoustically treated for voiceover production.
