Paid Fall 2025 internship with Youth Environmental Press Team

The Youth Environmental Press Team (YEPT) seeks an intern with journalism interests to support middle and high school student journalists reporting on the climate crisis and environmental issues of all kinds. YEPT is a program of Earth Charter Indiana, and has recently expanded beyond Indiana to a half dozen more states, with an eye toward a national reach. Articles often focus on youth advocacy in the climate action space, and also include science, social justice, and solutions.

Fall internship duties include:

• Assisting with expansion to more states
• Assisting with editing stories,
• Working with young journalists on story development
• Posting stories on our website
• Fact checking and acquiring fair use photos

This internship is virtual with flexible hours.
