Cognitive Science and Media
Students and faculty in this area combine theories and methods from psychology and cognitive science with theoretical and methodological approaches in media in an attempt to understand how people cognitively, emotionally and physiologically respond to, remember and interact with mediated messages across a wide range of topics and platforms, including games, music, advertising, social media, gender, sex, comedic news and sports.
