Wright, Lang, and Weaver represent Media School in Stanford top scientist rankings for third consecutive year
For the third consecutive year, professor and Director of Communication Science Paul Wright and Distinguished Emeritus Professors Annie Lang and David Weaver have been listed as top scientists in Stanford University School of Medicine research. The rankings reference research published between 1960 and 2022 and utilize standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator (c-score).
In order to be listed, Wright, Lang, and Weaver had to receive a percentile rank of 2% or higher in the field of Communication and Media Studies.
Several Indiana University Bloomington faculty from other fields also scored high enough to be ranked. These included Distinguished Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Carl Bauer, Distinguished Professor of Biology Lynda Delph, Distinguished Professor of Political Science Sumit Ganguly, Distinguished Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences Robert Goldstone, Distinguished Professor of Education Cindy Hmelo-Silver, and Distinguished Professor of Sociology Bernice A. Pescosolido.
