Osgood receives grant for Vietnam documentary project
Professor emeritus Ron Osgood received a grant for an interactive documentary project that tells the stories of people affected by the Vietnam War — U.S. and North and South Vietnamese veterans and civilians, alike.
Osgood and Patrick Shih, assistant professor of informatics, received an IU Bloomington Collaborative Research and Creative Activity Funding Award for their project, Just Like Me: Stories from All Sides. Osgood is a Vietnam War veteran himself.
The website features video interviews with veterans and civilians, searchable by nationality, topic, location and year. Indiana Public Media also features some of the videos on its site and YouTube channel.
