Monaghan among first Mosaic Fellows
Professor of practice Elaine Monaghan was selected as one of the first 12 Mosaic Faculty Fellows at the inaugural event for IU’s Mosaic Active Learning Initiative Jan. 22.
The Mosaic Initiative, launched in fall 2015, aims to allow faculty and staff to explore ways to expand the university’s use of active learning. This means teaching in a manner than promotes teamwork and results in active learners who are good problem solvers.
After the inaugural luncheon, fellows participated in the two-day Mosaic Institute that taught them how to engage students more in learning through workshops and other activities.
