Kelly wins Morley Teaching Award
Senior lecturer Susan Kelly won the 2020 Kathy O. Smith and Morley Career Distinguished Teaching Award.
This award recognizes College of Arts and Sciences non-tenure-line faculty members who have been outstanding teachers throughout their careers.
Kelly has been at IU for almost 25 years and has been awarded five teaching awards during that time.
Courses she teaches include script writing and feature film screen writing. She has also led the Media School summer travel course Short Film Production in Prague.
She received many recommendation letters from her students, and the award highlighted one in particular that said, “Susan Kelly, simply stated, has superpowers.”
