IDS wins gold, Inside Magazine silver at CSPA awards
The Indiana Daily Student won a Gold Crown and Inside Magazine won a Silver Crown award at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s College Media Convention March 13 in New York.
The IDS won for College Hybrid Publication, honoring both the print edition and the website. Inside Magazine won for College Magazine.
A Gold Crown is CSPA’s top honor, and the IDS is one of seven student media organizations in the country to receive it. Inside Magazine was one of eight. More than 1,000 schools submitted entries.
These awards honor the overall excellence of design, photography, concept, coverage and writing of the publications from the 2013-2014 school year.
