Fargo participates in data security panel at UChicago
On April 7, Dr. Anthony Fargo, participated in the panel “European Security in the Digital Age” at Midwest Regional Conference: Pathways for Europe, sponsored by European Horizons at the University of Chicago.
Fargo, associate professor and director of the Center for International Media Law and Policy Studies, and his fellow panelists discussed security issues affecting Europe and the United States in the digital age, including threats to personal data privacy as well as nation-level cyberattack threats on infrastructure systems.
European Horizons is a non-partisan think tank dedicated to envisioning the future of Europe and transatlantic relations. The organization has 42 campus chapters, hosts five annual conferences, and publishes an academic journal, “The Review of European and Transatlantic Affairs.”
