Clavio presents work at conference
Associate professor of sports media Galen Clavio participated in the Sport Marketing Association conference in Indianapolis Nov. 3.
Clavio co-presented a study, “Development of a Motivational Scale for Sport Twitter Consumption.” He also moderated a panel discussion, “Stream It to Believe It (and Other Cool Tech Stuff)” and co-presented a poster, “Measuring Social Media Engagement: Development and Evaluation of a Scale.”
Clavio’s research focuses on the ways new and social media impact how consumers, media and sports entities interact.
