Browning named Arthur W. Page Center research fellow
Associate professor Nicholas Browning joins the Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication as a research fellow. The center is a leading voice in promoting research and teaching that advances ethics in strategic communication practice.
The title results in Browning’s work on an upcoming volume focused on the role of public relations in developing and promoting organizations’ sociopolitical advocacy messaging.
Expected to release in 2026 by Routledge, “Sociopolitical Advocacy and the Role of Public Relations: Theoretical Developments and Emerging Perspectives on Corporate Social Advocacy and Related Constructs” will be edited by Browning in collaboration with Holly Overton at Penn State University.
Contributors to the book include Minjeong Kang, Media School faculty member; Ejae Lee, PhD’24, assistant professor at Boston University; and Yanan Wu, MA’23, doctoral student at Penn State University.
