Job description
We need an intelligent, resourceful, and passionate intern to help expand communication, marketing, and public relations strategies, including finding engaging and interactive ways to build community support. This internship will provide immeasurable hands-on experience that will deeply broaden your knowledge and portfolio in a nonprofit environment. We are seeking an intern who is not afraid to take a chance, while bringing new ideas to the table. The intern will choose between Cancer Support Community of South Central Indiana and Middle Way House.
The stipend for the internship is $1,000 during the next academic year. The internship runs through the fall and spring semesters.
Required qualifications
- Must have completed sophomore year
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in marketing and/or public relations, including use of social media
- Ability to work as a member of a team, applying critical thinking and problem solving to help promote the mission of the organization
