About Shoreline Games:
Shoreline Games is a new, innovative studio dedicated to creating captivating gaming experiences. We are currently working on three exciting new titles to bring to gamers in 2025: Nova Hearts, Sanatorium, and Onirism. We are seeking a Game Publishing Intern to assist with various aspects of bringing our games to market, from marketing and community engagement to operations and logistics.
As a Game Publishing Intern, you will work closely with the publishing team to help ensure our games reach their full potential in the marketplace. This role involves supporting marketing, distribution, community outreach, and administrative efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of game launches, including first party relations, store management and development, and asset creation for the aforementioned channels
- Assist in milestone management and project task tracking as it relates to the milestones
- Liaison between and communicate with the developers and internal Shoreline publishing team to ensure that all bugs, issues, updates, and activities are well documented and known
- Help organize promotional activities in collaboration with the product marketing team, such as giveaways, content releases, and influencer outreach
- Provide assistance with administrative tasks related to game publishing, such as distribution logistics
- Conduct market research to help inform publishing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth release of new titles
Required qualifications:
- Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming community, especially indie games (we will ask for your favorites!)
- Strong interest in game publishing or development, with a desire to learn about the publishing process from start to finish
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with gaming platforms and marketing tools
- Basic knowledge of analytical tools and trends is a plus
- Previous experience in marketing or game development is a plus but not required
