Biography
Craig Wood teaches introductory and advanced advertising, public relations, and integrated marketing communication courses. His career in the advertising and public relations industry spanned 40 years during which he provided strategic communication, advertising and public relations counsel to some the world’s leading corporations and brands.
As executive vice president of Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency in New York, Craig served as worldwide account director and was chief operating officer of Saatchi & Saatchi/Rowland, an integrated, business-to-business, global communication agency.
Craig received a B.A. from Wittenberg University and a M.S. from Montana State University. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his client work in advertising and public relations including the One Show, Clio, ADDY, ANDY, Sabre, and the IABC Golden Quill Award. Accredited in Public Relations, APR, by the Public Relations Society of America and the Universal Accreditation Board; and a member of the American Advertising Federation, Craig is the recipient of the Gretchen A. Kemp Teaching Award and is a 2015 Fellow at the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions. He is faculty adviser to the Advertising Club at Indiana University, the IU student chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
