Biography
Lois completed her Ph.D. in Informatics at Indiana University. While at IU, she built an international reputation as a scholar of adolescent internet use, social digital science, and digital ethics. Her current research projects focus on digital ethics, intellectual freedom, and social media policy and use in libraries.
Her teaching experience is wide-ranging and includes courses at major research universities, private institutions, and community colleges. She teaches undergraduate and graduate students digital technology, information science, informatics, library science, and business. She has also taught communication, and public administration courses.
