Ian Fournie

Biography

Ian is the Associate Director for Employer Relations in the Media School & Walter Center for Career Achievement. In his role, he connects with employers from across all areas of the media industries to build relationships and learn about job/internship opportunities for students in the Media School.

Outside of this role, Ian also teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, serves as the staff advisor for Adoptee Awareness Student Association student organization and as the Student Involvement Coordinator for the Association of College Unions International (ACUI)’s Region VI.

Prior to being in this role, Ian worked in the Indiana Memorial Union as the Union Board Program Coordinator. He also is an IU alum, receiving his M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs through the School of Education. Ian is also a graduate of Bradley University, where he received a B.S. in Public Relations, while also studying for minors in music, creative writing and business management.
