Biography
Shitemi Khamadi is a Kenyan journalist and media development practitioner with over 15 years’ experience. He has extensive experience in journalism practice, media development, program development and management. He has worked with various institutions including Aga Khan Graduate School of Media and Communications (GSMC), DAI Global, Africa Uncensored, Internews, Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE), PAWA 254, Cause Impact and KELIN Kenya among others. He has also consulted for Voice, Search for Common Ground, Nendo, PASGR, Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), Twawezi East Africa and WACI Health among others. Shitemi holds two Masters’ Degrees, one in Digital Journalism from the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communication (GSMC), Nairobi and another in Peace and Conflict Management from Kenyatta University. His undergraduate Degree is in International Relations from the United States International University (USIU).
