Grubb receives Outstanding Senior Award
The Division of Student Affairs and the Office of the Provost celebrated students recently at the Senior Awards Brunch. Senior Natalie Grubb was a recipient for the Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Award. Grubb is graduating from The Media School with a major in journalism. She served as president of the IU Student Athletic Board, which supports all 24 IU Bloomington sports teams, as well as working as a media relations intern for IU Athletics. Grubb was also a part of IU’s inaugural Women’s Symposium, where she interviewed Indianapolis Colts owner Kalen Irsay-Jackson for the keynote session.

Kate Hevner Mueller served Indiana University from 1937 to 1969 as dean of women, senior counselor for women, and a professor of education. The Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Awards were established in 2013 to honor IU seniors who have provided leadership on campus both inside and outside of the classroom, and who have improved the IU community by their presence.
