Global Game Jammers create 5 games in single weekend

Global Game Jam is one of the largest game creation events in the world. Participants around the world gather at local sites to create games based on a common theme in just one weekend. It was the third year Bloomington’s event was held in Franklin Hall, and it was the 11th year for the event worldwide.
The theme, “What home means to you,” inspired 23 people to produce five games, said Media School lecturer and local site organizer Will Emigh said. Four were digital, and one was a board game.
Worldwide, 47,000 jammers created 9,000 games at 860 sites in 113 countries.
