Fargo to speak at AEJMC Southeast Colloquium
Associate professor Anthony Fargo will speak at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Southeast Colloquium on March 9 at the University of Alabama.
The panel, “Globalizing U.S. Media Law Teaching: Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century,” will discuss the increasing importance of integrating international legal concepts into media law classes because of the globalization of media, as well as strategies for doing so.
Fargo will be joined on the panel by Edward Carter of Brigham Young University, Victoria Smith Ekstrand of the University of North Carolina, Amy Kristin Sanders of Northwestern University at Qatar and Kyu Ho Youm of the University of Oregon.
