Ellcessor to lead workshop on mobile apps, assault
Assistant professor Elizabeth Ellcessor will discuss mobile apps and sexual assault prevention at the Circles workshop at 4:30 p.m. April 12 in Wells Library E174.
Circles is part of the Institute for Digital Arts and Humanities Rewiring Consent series of talks this semester that aim to address how information is turned (or fails to turn) into data. The participants are using IU’s Title IX and Clery Campus Security Reports as a starting point for presentations and discussions.
Elcessor’s talk will focus on about emergency services and campus reporting processes, and how those processes are becoming technologically centralized. Assistant professor Amy Gonzales will participate in the roundtable discussion as well.
