National Advertising Competition callout meeting
Each year, IU competes against about 120 universities in the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition. The group’s task is to develop a fully integrated marketing and communication campaign for this year’s product, which is Tide.
Groups must produce:
- A plans book” that outlines the research conducted along with the proposed cross-platform ad and PR creative
- Fully scripted, 20-minute presentation to a group of judges
The plans book is due in March; the regional presentation is held in South Bend in April. Work on the competition begins in October with course credit possible during the spring semester for those who start in the fall.
