‘The Pleasures of Uninhibited Excess’ screening and Q&A
“The Pleasures of Uninhibited Excess” is a documentary of a performance by Survival Research Labs, a performance group that stages what the group calls “ritualized interactions” between robotic creatures.
Survival Research Laboratories founder Mark Pauline will virtually introduce the film via Zoom. Attendees will view the screening through Vimeo before returning to Zoom for a post-screening Q&A.
This screening is presented as part of a film series for the graduate seminar “Theory for Troubled Times” and is virtually hosted by the IU Libraries Moving Image Archive/Screening Room.
