‘Get Rid of Yourself’ screening
Associate professor Joan Hawkins will introduce “Get Rid of Yourself.” The film, called an “anti-documentary” by its authors, combines footage of rioting at the 2001 G-8 summit in Genoa with performances by Chloe Sevigny, Werther von Delmont and members of the Black Bloc anarchist group.
This screening is presented as part of a film series for the graduate seminar “Theory for Troubled Times” and is virtually hosted by the IU Libraries Moving Image Archive/Screening Room.
