“Sea Point Days” screening
“Sea Point Days” (2008), directed by François Verster, gives a record of life in Cape Town, South Africa’s most segregated city, through a space where everyone seems to come together.
The screening is part of this season’s Filmmaker to Filmmaker series exploring the work of South African-based filmmakers Verster and Jahmil X.T. Qubeka, both leaders in the industry.
The event is co-sponsored by The Media School’s Black Film Center/Archive and Center for Documentary Research and Practice.
