The Rough and Unequal Symposium, hosted by the Grunwald Gallery of Art and The Media School’s Black Film Center/Archive , features filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson in collaboration with IU faculty and students.
An exhibition of Everson’s 11-minute silent film, “Rough and Unequal,” is the centerpiece of the symposium. The exhibit is Aug. 6-Oct. 4 in the Grunwald Gallery.
All symposium events are free and open to the public.
