The Academic Honors Program recognizes the highest-achieving Media School students, offering access to honors classes, special faculty mentoring, a Career Exploration Scholarship for seniors, and invitations to join two unique student trips.
AHP students are eligible to participate in two trips: an overnight networking trip to Chicago during their junior or senior year, and the signature Honors Summer in London program immediately after their junior year. Both trips are optional, but highly encouraged for honors students.
AHP students earn a departmental honors notation by completing a rigorous academic program of at least two Media School honors courses (MSCH-H designation), maintaining a cumulative 3.5 GPA, earning at least a C or higher in all Media School classes, and attending at least one Media School-specific guest speaker event every semester.
Media School students who have completed three semesters at IU and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 are invited to apply for the Academic Honors Program.
This application is open to current sophomores. The form will close Friday, Feb. 7.
