Creating a website for your USO
The Media School does not have the capacity to create or maintain websites for USOs.
If you choose to use IU branding, we recommend you create your own site using the IU Web Content Management System, which will provide you with a brand-compliant website. You will need the support of your faculty or staff sponsor to create a site.
If you choose not to use IU branding, we recommend either WordPress or Squarespace. Depending on your choice, you may need to pay for a web-hosting service such as DreamHost or GoDaddy, which can cost as little as $25 a year, and a domain name, which can cost as little as $12 a year. Domains can often be registered through the same provider where you are hosting your site.
