Trustees approve two new Media School degrees
The Indiana University Board of Trustees today approved two new degrees for The Media School, starting in fall 2015: a bachelor of arts in media and a bachelor of science in game design.
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education must approve the degrees before they officially become part of the curriculum. It’s anticipated that the request for ICHE approval will be made later this spring and the degree programs will begin this fall.
The school will continue to offer a bachelor of arts in journalism based on the current program, which has been accredited for more than 60 years.
More details about the proposed degrees will be available in a press release to be issued Feb. 23.
