Media School student work featured in showcase
If you are wondering what Media School students do all semester as they race around campus with notebooks, audio and video recorders, cameras and tripods, here’s your chance to find out.
The IU Student Showcase features the work of 29 students, 25 of them from The Media School. The showcase starts at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at IU Cinema and is free, but tickets are required. Pick up tickets at the IU Auditorium Box Office before the show.
To make the show, the best student work is submitted by professors and instructors to lecturer Susanne Schwibs, who said she builds a program based on their rankings and the flow of the material.
Though 29 sounds like a lot of videos, many are very short. Schwibs predicts the show will end around 9 p.m.
Here’s the complete line up. Check the IU Cinema website for other details.
