Fargo presents soon-to-be-published paper in California
Associate professor Anthony Fargo presented his paper, “A Federal Shield Law That Works: Protecting Sources, Fighting Fake News, and Confronting Modern Challenges to Effective Journalism” in California last month.
Fargo’s paper examines attempts to pass a federal shield law that would protect journalists from being required to reveal their sources. The paper was presented at Southwestern Law School’s Fake News and Weaponized Defamation: Global Perspectives conference.
The paper has also been accepted for publication in the Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law, which is published by Southwestern Law School.
