Request for support for professional conference travel
The Media School has limited funding to support professional conference attendance. Some awards are restricted to specific areas of study and financial need. Preference is given to students who have not received prior travel support from The Media School.
This application is for undergraduate students and graduate students, and funds attendance at media industry conferences (but not academic conferences). Graduate students who wish to attend or present at academic conferences such as the National Communication Association or the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication should apply for the College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Student Travel Award.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Students should be prepared to submit a budget for their travel.
