Academic Honors Program Senior Thesis
During their final semester, Academic Honors Program seniors complete a thesis or creative project in MSCH-H497 Senior Honors Thesis.
The senior thesis could take many forms. It’s up to the student, working with a faculty mentor, to determine the exact scope of the paper or project.
Early in the fall of senior year, AHP students should approach a Media School faculty member — preferably in the student’s area of study — to request they serve as their mentor. When a faculty mentor is secured, the student and professor should begin the process of defining what the senior thesis project will entail. Once these initial details have been agreed upon, the student should complete this form for approval to register in MSCH-H497 during the spring semester.
