Yuxian(Yuki) Lin is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Communication Science unit, at the Media School. Her current research interests focus on understanding the cognitive, emotional, and social demands of interactive media technologies, especially AR/VR, video games, and human-computer interaction.
Yuki earned her M.S. in Public Relations, at the College of Communication, Boston University, and a dual B.A. degree from Hunan University, China & Colorado State University, with a concentration in Television and Film Copywriting and Editing. She has worked in Hill+Knowlton Strategies as a PR professional for high-tech companies before she came to the U.S. and started her Master’s studies.
