Biography
Yoosun Ham is currently a Ph.D. student in the Media School at Indiana University. Her research area focuses on the following topics: (a) corporate and country reputation management; (b) public diplomacy; (c) persuasive communication regarding reputation management; (d) public psychology, perception, and attitude changes; and (e) evaluations of direct/indirect experiences between two different countries.
She received her M.A. in Communication from the Ewha Woman’s University, Seoul, South Korea, and her B.A. in Communication from SUNY at Buffalo. She participated in various government media development projects to establish national branding and strengthen diplomacy. She also worked in the field of PR and was part of the Integrated Marketing Communication team where she was mainly in charge of the fields related to resorts, automobile, and state-owned companies and attempted to deliver clear messages to promote brands or products.
