Biography
Maria McComish is an M.S. student with a concentration in investigative journalism. Their interests lie in examining the various ways that news organizations have interacted with unions and strikes throughout history. McComish works as a Fellow at the Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism, where she has collaborated on a story with InvestigateTV examining National Transportation Safety Board practices.
She completed her undergraduate degree at IU as well, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a focus on Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. She wrote several pieces on aspects of media ethics and the Bloomington community for the Indiana Daily Student during this time.
