Biography
Lecturer, joined IU in 2003. J.D. Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington, 1987. B.A. Telecommunications/Political Science, Indiana University, 1984. Teaching interests: telecommunications law and policy; telecommunications industry and management. Intern, U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Telecommunications, Consumer Protection and Finance. Legal Clerk, National Association of Broadcasters. Member, Bloomington City Council, 1996-1998. Chief of Staff, Congressman Baron Hill, 1999-2002. Elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2002. Pierce holds an Extra Class amateur radio license and is an advisor for the IU amateur radio club (K9IU).
