Biography

Leya Taylor is a Bloomington-based higher education professional with a background in film production and studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English Literature and Communication & Culture from Indiana University (BA ’09). Leya has been involved in the production of numerous independent films and other creative projects since 2007 and served as a principal organizer of a local genre film festival that ran from 2007-2017. She is currently working for The Media School at Indiana University, helping to recruit young filmmakers, journalists, and game designers.
