Biography
Hi! My name is Edie Schwarb and I’m a senior majoring in journalism with a concentration in social and digital media and minoring in sports marketing and management. I’m also an Ernie Pyle Scholar at The Media School, and I’m hoping to pursue a career in social media management in the professional sports industry.
In Bloomington, I am a third-year social & digital media intern for IU Athletics through the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology. I also work for Homefield Apparel as their social media lead, where I create content for their brand and store on Kirkwood.
This past summer, I worked as a social media intern for NFL Films, and I spent my junior year interning for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Additionally, I studied abroad in London through The Media School’s Summer in London program where I had a sports marketing internship. I loved my experience studying abroad and can’t wait to return to Europe.
Outside of my classes and jobs, I like to stay active and spend time outside. I also enjoy traveling and going to concerts and sporting events with friends.
