Biography
Ava Mikola is a first-year M.S. student concentrating in Strategic Communication. With an undergraduate background in Merchandising and Fashion Media from Indiana University Bloomington, her interests center on fashion communication, marketing, and branding, with a specific focus on sustainable fashion. Ava has experience working with fashion and lifestyle publications, as well as sustainable apparel organizations, where she was involved in brand strategy, digital communications, and social media initiatives. Through these roles, she has developed a strong foundation in crafting compelling narratives and promoting brand values, skills that she continues to enhance in her graduate studies.
Beyond her coursework, Ava serves as a Graduate Assistant to the Merchandising Program Faculty, aiding the program in enhancing student success. She also writes a digital column for Season Magazine, Indiana University’s student-run fashion and lifestyle publication.
