Media School faculty include award-winning professionals with years of practical experience in their fields, as well as internationally ranked researchers.
Faculty study the dynamic interplay of technology and culture to better understand complex social relations at the intersections of diverse user groups, infrastructure and policy, environments (including those that are virtual, augmented and simulated), production, design, materiality and practices in both historical and contemporary contexts. Teaching and research interests focus on a broad range of media technologies (e.g. telecommunication networks, screens, platforms, technological artifacts, interfaces and games) and address the development and implementation of media technologies as cultural forms in the context of everyday life and use.
