Civic and Political Communication
How do politics, civic engagement and media interact? Civic and political communication research aims to understand how media coverage of social and political society influence the opinions that people hold, the issues that they pay attention to and how citizens become informed. This domain has numerous approaches, as exemplified by the faculty conducting research from the perspectives of communication, history, political science and psychology.
