Wright appears on Digiday’s ‘The New Normal’
Professor and director of Communication Science Paul Wright was featured on Digiday’s “The New Normal,” a weekly podcast interactive show featuring media and marketing industry leaders.
Wright asked last week’s guest, Allison Murphy, about the statistical and methodological implications of the switch from third- to first-party data. Murphy is The New York Times’ senior vice president for ad innovation.
The conversation highlighted the importance of research ethics training, which is a central component of Wright’s MSCH-S348 Audience Analysis class. In addition to being an academic media psychologist, Wright is an active follower of the advertising and marketing industries. He has earned the Advanced Google Analytics Certificate from the Google Analytics Academy and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from the Google Academy for Ads.
