Uber and DeSantis win senior awards
Undergraduates Emma Uber and Caterina DeSantis have both received senior awards, earning the Elvis J. Stahr Award and Kate Hevner Mueller Award, respectively. Uber is a double major in journalism through The Media School and international studies through the Hamilton Lugar School. DeSantis is a media advertising major through The Media School.
The Elvis J. Stahr Award is given to three to five students each year and honors undergraduates who are respected campus leaders, have achieved significant academic milestones with research experience, and have study abroad experience to inform their worldview. Preference is given to students with GPAs of 3.6 or higher.
The Kate Hevner Mueller Award is given to a limited number of seniors every year. They are awarded to students who are highly regarded student leaders and have made a significant impact on their campus community.
Uber and DeSantis will be recognized during the Outstanding Senior Recognition Brunch on April 13.
