Survey: 80% of Hoosiers believe in climate change
Eighty percent of Indiana residents believe that climate change is happening, and 75% support efforts to address the impact of climate change, according to a statewide survey commissioned by Environmental Resilience Institute researchers, including Media School dean Jim Shanahan.
The results, which were released today, offer insights on Hoosier attitudes toward climate change. Shanahan, who is associate director of ERI, contributed to the survey development and data review of the study as part of his work on the Prepared for Environmental Change Grand Challenge.
