Potter presents work, leads workshop in Taiwan
Associate professor Rob Potter presented research and led a workshop on psychophysiological methods and measures at the Department of Communication and Technology at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan in June.
Potter spoke about his research that explores how to increase automatic attention in audio messages using vocal pitch. He also presented his work on the subject at the International Communication Association conference in June.
Potter’s main areas of study include the impact of auditory elements on information processing of media, psychophysiological indicators of cognitive and emotional responses to media and the influence of advertising clutter on information processing.
