BFCA celebrates filmmaker Vieyra
On Friday, the Black Film Center & Archive celebrated the life of Paulin S. Vieyra, a filmmaker, critic, writer, and historian. Items curated from his donated archive collection were displayed for the first time and a select screening of Vieyra’s short films and the 4K restoration of “The Making of Ceddo” were shown. The event was held on what would have been Vieyra’s 100th birthday.
